Update June 24, 2024
Severe storms have severely damaged part of the A13 San Bernardino route in southern Switzerland. The route is therefore expected to be closed for four weeks. This route served as an important alternative route for transports to and from Italy, as the Arlberg tunnel is also currently closed. All traffic is now being diverted via the Gotthard, which is causing considerable traffic delays and congestion.
