The Gebrüder Weiss Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship

Empowering the next generation in logistics

At Gebrüder Weiss, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce in the logistics sector, with a firm belief that education can pave the way to a more equitable industry. With this in mind, we created the "Gebrüder Weiss Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship" in partnership with Loyola University Chicago, Rutgers School of Business – Newark and New Brunswick, and the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). The universities were chosen based on the schools' stellar academics and thorough preparation of students for supply chain and logistics careers. Designed to support students who may face economic barriers, the scholarship is poised to assist students who maintain commendable academic records. By further prioritizing the first in their families to attend college and those who champion the role of women in business, Gebrüder Weiss is committed to nurturing future leaders who can bring change and innovation to the industry.

Arrupe College Scholarship

As an expansion to the Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship, Gebrüder Weiss increased its gift to provide scholarships for Arrupe College of Loyola University Chicago. Arrupe College offers two-year associate degrees in liberal arts, business, or social and behavioral sciences and works with enrolled students to determine a post-graduation path, either finding meaningful employment or transferring to a four-year college to pursue a bachelor's degree. The scholarships will further Arrupe's mission to help students who may not otherwise have access to college graduate with little to no debt.
