Christkindlmarket Logistics Partner Gebrüder Weiss to Collect Donations for Toys for Tots in Daley Plaza from November 18 – December 15

- International logistics and transport company Gebrüder Weiss sponsors the German American Events’ 26^th annual Christkindlmarket and will collect items for Toys for Tots at the Chicago market from Friday, November 18through Thursday, December 15. Visitors are invited to share the joy of the season and bring a new, unwrapped gift for donation or shop the market for an item to be donated to Toys for Tots.

“Gebrüder Weiss is a family-owned organization with Austrian roots, so we’re delighted to once again sponsor the Christkindlmarket and help bring this unique German tradition to Chicago. In addition, by becoming a destination for Toys for Tots donations at the downtown market, we can take our support a step further and bring even more joy to the community,” said the CEO of Gebrüder Weiss USA, Mark McCullough.

Toys and gifts can be donated daily during event hours at the Gebrüder Weiss booth inside the alpine-style timber tent in Daley Plaza at 50 West Washington. To spread even more holiday cheer, on Saturdays and Sundays only, through December 15, visitors that bring Toys for Tots donations to the Gebrüder Weiss booth will receive a $5 voucher to use on food or beverages at the market.

The Christkindlmarket Chicago is known as the original and most traditional market in the area. The free outdoor holiday markets host international and local vendors who display and sell handcrafted ornaments, toys, unique holiday gifts, traditional German foods, sweets, and beverages. The market is rich in cultural tradition and includes special events, entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family.
