Containers for air freight
There is a variety of container types for air freight in particular. Basically the type of the various containers depends on the type of aircraft used. Air freight containers are available in sizes from approx. 4.5 m ³.
In freight transport, the most commonly used truck bodies are box bodies and curtain-sided bodies.
Box bodies are best suited for less-than-truckload, high-value, or temperature-controlled shipments that require a refrigeration unit. Curtain-sided bodies are typically used for full truckload (FTL) transport. They allow loading from the side or top, providing flexibility for different types of freight.
